DIY Chalkboard Magnet Board
This craft is super cute and fun for all ages.

We picked this pan up from the dollar store for $1! Ace hardware carries chalkboard paint, which is also something you will use.

Tape off the edges of the pan and then spray the interior with chalkboard paint. Let the paint dry over night at least! We tried letting it dry for only an hour, but it flaked off when we went on to the next step.

select whatever kind of paper you would like and modge podge around the edges where you didn't spray your pan with chalkboard paint.

GET CRAFT!!! Use ribbon, paper flowers, foam stuff, glass rocks, or whatever you can get your hands on to decorate. Large clear glass rocks work best. to get the best magnet, mod podge the flat side of the clear rock, stick whatever paper or sticker on the bottom then modge podge over it!

This craft was super fun and easy and the kids had a blast. Once again, mom surpassed her amazingness!! Coming next.. OWL BAG MADE FROM AN OLD WOOL COAT!!!

DIY Notebook:

As many of you know, my mother is probably one of the craftiest people ever. Due to this, I decided to begin documenting and giving the rest of you ideas (and myself in the future). My mom is a teacher for local children that want to become crafty. Today in her 4-H class, we will be learning how to make that boring composition Notebook cute and fun!
You will need 1 composition notebook
enough paper to cover the front and back
and whatever you want to decorate the front with
(I used a contrasting color of paper, fun paper clips, paper flowers, buttons, and ribbon)

Basically you just measure out the paper to fit the notebook, then use that beloved imagination and have a party! You can use stamps or stickers to write what you will be using the notebook for, or whatever your little heart desires. Here are some examples of what the kids in her class did with their composition Notebooks.

To do the bookmark, hole punch several holes on the left edge of the paper. select whatever ribbon you desire then thread it through every hole when you get to the top, double back through the top hole then lace the remaining ribbon through it.

As you can tell, personality reflects on the look you want of your notebook.

Until next time friends!
